Bi650 Red Interference Bandpass Filter

Red Interference Bandpass Filter for machine-vision imaging — passes 643-665nm and blocks out-of-band light for repeatable contrast on the line.

Overview [ 01 ]

Bi650 filters are narrower in bandwidth, block UV and near-IR wavelengths, and are useful in applications where intense sunlight or other interfering ambient light may be present. These filters are commonly used in vegetative health applications where low reflectivity at 650nm is used to identify (relatively) healthy vegetation. Bi650 filters are also compatible with 650nm laser diodes and LEDs, frequently used in laser pointers and pattern generators. They are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 2.0mm.
